With kids, I realised that my time is more precious and limited than ever. When I work, I cannot afford to procrastinate or get distracted because the thought of unfinished work would spill into my play time. When that happens, the guilty feeling of not being fully present with the kids would spill into my work time. And there I see, the cycle continues. One thing leads to another.

Then, I remember this phrase. Work hard, play hard.

I must be clearly directed before starting the work so I can have a high quality focus time during the work. Avoid distraction at all cost. Work hard. So when I play, I can have my full attention for the kids. I want to feel the joy, I want to embrace, I want to play hard. 

Time will be gone and never to be regained. But memory will stay.
